Storyboard Text

  • Mark Antony Act 3, Scene 2
  • Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears.
  • Lepidus is a horse Act 4, Scene 2
  • You may do your will, but he is a tried and valiant soldier.
  • So is my horse, Octavius, and for that I do appoint him store of provender.
  • The ghost of Caesar Act 4, Scene 3
  • Thy evil spirit, Brutus.
  • Speak to me, what art thou?
  • Mark Antony, with permission from Brutus, speaks at Caesar's funeral. He sways the Roman's feelings to be favourable towards his cause and turns them against the conspirators.
  • Hark those cheers, are they friendly? Nay. Act 5, Scene 3
  • Caesar, thou art revenged, even with the sword that killed thee.
  • Octavius, Antony and Lepidus meet to form a new triumvirate. After Lepidus leaves, Antony insults the man, comparing him to his horse. Antony doesn't think he is worthy of being a part of the triumvirate.
  • Another on bites the dust Act 5, Scene 5
  • Caesar, now be still: I killed not thee with half so good a will.
  • Cassius and Brutus accuse each other of not behaving as friends should. After they resolve their issues and Brutus confides in Cassius that his wife, Portia, killed herself by swallowing hot coals. Afterwards, Brutus sees the ghost of spirit that tells Brutus he will see him at Philippi.
  • Noble Brutus Act 5, Scene 5
  • This was the noblest Roman of them all.
  • Cassius sends Titinius to see if the shouts he hears are friendly or from the enemies. He hears more shouts and thinks that Titinius has been taken by the enemy. Not wanting to be captured, he tells Pindarus to kill him. However, Titinius was greeted by allies, and Cassius died in vain.
  • Brutus, knowing that everything is ovcer, decides that he would rather die than be captured. He instructsStrato to hold his sword so he can run onto it. 
  • Octavius and Antony praise Brutus as being "the most noble Roman of them all".
