My planet is Neptune.Kaamya Krishna
Neptune was discovered on September 23, 1846.
Neptune is an outer planet, and the closest to it are Uranus and the dwarf planet Pluto.
Neptune is about 20 times the size of the Earth, and the smallest gas giant. It has more than a dozen moons, with Triton its largest.
It is made of clouds and gases. Its methane gives a blue color. It has a small rock core. The deeper you go into Neptune, the hotter you get. The atmosphere could get down to -240 degrees or -330 degrees F! That's cold!
Fun Fact 1: Triton, Neptune's biggest moon, may be the coldest place in the solar system! Fun Fact 2: Nobody knows who is the real discoverer of Neptune!
