Atahualpa's refusal to respect the Emperor led to the attack of Inca army and latter became the battle of Cajamarca. on November. 16, 1532. And the Spanish were successful. And took the Inca captive.
by February 1533, Almargo had joined up with Pizarro with 150 men and 50 horses
Atahualpa was charged of 12 crimes, including killing his brother and plotting against Pizarro and his forces. Pizarro was still not wanting Atahualpa to get killed. But that did not seem to matter due to the "great agitation among the soldiers" mostly done by Almargo he was executed on August. 29, 1533.
