  • yes! that sword you are holding, how what that sword and other weapons made?
  • Anna is a tourist who is interested in ancient Chinese warfare. She is attending a tour of the temples.
  • hello! before we enter the temple are there any questions?
  • Anna this is tony, he works with metal to create things like the sword I was holding. he heats the metal then uses folding and forging techniques to get the shape.
  • Cool! but how did they make other weapons like rocket arrows?
  • Why are we in a science lab?
  • Because this is where the main component of rocket arrows would have been created. That component is gunpowder which was created when the emperor at the time wanted to live forever. so his scientist began experimenting and found out charcoal, sulfur and saltpetre made gunpowder. to make a rocket arrow you put gunpowder in a tube of bamboo and tie it to an arrow.

  • This is an ancient Chinese battle field in battle weapons such as catapults and rocket arrows were used to reach a long distance and to also scare horses and their riders. Though any of the enemy who got to close were attacked with swords, spears and knives accompanied by martial arts.
