Woohoo! I'm so excited to learn how us cells came to be.
Hello cells!! Today we will be learning the development and principles of the cell theory and the scientists who helped. We will tag along this journey and listen to these remarkable scientists!
Woah!!! This is amazing!
Hmmm is that a cork? Maybe I should put it under the microscope and see what I find. It seems to have a honeycomb-like structure. I see cell walls and little compartments. I'm going to call a single compartment a cell. I coined the term "cell".
What am I doing under here?
My discovery of the nucleus helped prove cell theory. That means all cells come from preexisting cells.
I am a botanist and I figured out that all plant tissues are made up of cells. I discovered that the cell is the basic building block of all matter.
We came up with the Unified Cell Theory. This would mean that all organisms are composed of one or more cells and that new cells arise from existing ones.
My buddy Schleiden figured out that plant tissues are made up of cells. I extended that theory to animals.
I loved learning all about cells today! I have gained so much knowledge from all of these scientists who contributed to cell theory.
cells come from other cells
I discovered that cells come from other cells. Remember the Unified Cell theory? I mad important contributions to that. I found out that cells are the basic unit of structure and function.
