Storyboard Text

  • Somewhere in May 2016, I have came back from school
  • This is tiring.
  • I get a text. Oh boy.
  • Blah blah blah...!
  • Blah blah blah...
  • Why did this happen...?
  • I haven't changed in the slightest! What are you talking about?!
  • This is what i'm talking about. You've become more aggressive and don't talk with us often.
  • I would have to agree...
  • At this point in her life, she had been in 6th grade with two close friends. They hadn't gotten along well because that was the year they didn't have classes together. She came back to lay upon her bed, thinking about the school day. When suddenly...
  • I wish it went better
  • She did seem happy with the fact that the text was from those two friends. But after conversing for about 20 minutes, the beginning of this argument wasn't really remembered. So I'm just putting "Blah blah blah"
  • 4 months later there's a notification...
  • They were clearly upset at the fact that Ashley had "changed". She didn't understand what the change was, and if so, what was so bad about it? She was busy with her own schoolwork, wasn't she? The whole situation seemed absurd. The misunderstanding led to a break up in this friendship.
  • It's memorable
  • I think you guys should speak again.
  • That was the end of that. She didn't know what to do with herself after that whole argument. She just ended a friendship that had lasted so long. Now what? Distractions were what she needed.
  • What now?
  • She was glad to be alone. She realized how much bliss she felt without people. Sadly, this grew an anti-social shell. But that shell was what made her happy. People didn't really understand, but that's okay. Four months have passed with her playing games all the time and having no one bother her, it was stress-free. She understood what makes her happy. But she got a text from a friend who hadn't spoken since the end of the school year.
  • It was a reunion with the old friend that had been separated. The other friend that had still spoken to Ashley was the person who initiated them to reconcile. This time, Ashley took the situation maturely with more wisdom. It was a success! With a bit more of an open mind, they've settled differences. To this day, she still thinks about it. What would've happened if she took a different route?
  • I don't think it'll get through to her.
  • Go ahead, I'm listening.
