  • Law 2
  • The first law states how objects that have more mass have more inertia and require more force to move. Here the ball is easier to kick than the car is too push.
  • Law 2
  • The ball went much further because it had less mass and required less force to be acted upon it for it to move
  • Law 3
  • Force equals mass * accelaration. If two objects travelling at the same speed hit something, the heavier object will have more force.
  • Law 3
  • The heavier metal ball had more mass than the lighter beach ball, and therefore also had more force. The metal ball broke the glass and stayed there, whereas the beach ball didnt even leave a scratch and bounced off.
  • The third law states that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction
  • Here the moving car imparts a force on the brick wall, and the wall imparts an equal force back, this is what causes the car to come to a quick stop
