Well, Billy i'm going to tell you how! I attended college at RIT as a Biomedical sciences major, my focus was pre-medical studies, which means that i was required to take a lot of science and health-related courses.
WOW! Thats very cool! I bet it was hard but also Fun. What else did you have to to do?
Yes, multiple things, i had to volunteer at a hospital and shadow a doctor with a profession of my choice for 200 hours, then i took the MCAT exam. You have to take that exam in order to make it into Medical school, depending on your score. Once you're accepted, you have to attend medical school for 4 years.
I bet i can do that! So then after finishing up medical school, do you become a Doctor right away??
Not quite, after graduating medical school, i had to do my residency of choice, i decided to become a Pediatrician and i joined the residency program, and that was for another three years. Then i became licensed to become a Doctor!
Well i chose this profession because I like working with kids, and making sure that they are healthy and strong, and also learn new ways to help! P.S the pay is also Great! :)
WOW, thats like 11 years of school right there! Why did you decide to become a Pediatrician?
