"If you do it, and you love it, and it helps you navigate through the river of the world, then it can't be wrong."
"We all have to find a way to say goodbye."
I WANT TO DIE I MISS MY MOMMY!
"The world, even the smallest part of the it is filled with things that you don't know."
Why does this feel bad
My cartoon is about junior taking out some of the stress that he has, by playing basketball. he said when he was on the Rez he just wanted to play basketball with Rowdy and be happy. Out of everything he says that he wants to do, Junior talks about basketball the most.
" If you let people in your life, they can be pretty damn amazing."
This is about Junior's dad constantly whining and getting drunk every time he can. Junior's father got very drunk when Eugene passed. I drew this one specifically because I thought hid dad would be the next to die because he was always getting drunk and never come home and when he does he is totally wasted.
"GO MEANS GO!!"
Well... Reardan, here I come.
Junior is in a small, small part of the world and hasn't lived his life to the fullest. And also hasn't learned new things because he is tuck in a third of a third of the earth.i made this one because this shows that junior needs to expand his horizon on his life so he can know all the choices he can make for his life.
"Poverty doesn't give you the strength or teach you lessons about perseverance. NO poverty only teaches you how to be poor."
We have been impoverished for generations.
This picture portrays Roger taking junior home from the dance. When Junior accepted in life he never knew they would become the best of friends and they would look out for each other throughout the duration of the book. I drew this book because i thought that this stood out to me and I saw them grow as friends.
The cartoon is about Junior leaving wellpinit and going to reardan. When Mr. P told him to go from here Junior went and asked to leave and go to reardan because he needed a better education.I put a sing for wellpinit and reardan and Junior lis leaving the wellpinit sign and is going to the Reardan sign.
This is a picture of generations of impoverished Indians who couldn't break the cycle. This relates because it basically that the chain of poverty of his people was unbreakable at the time. I drew this cartoon because it was important to me that include this spite of what junior is doing it sucks that he still is poor although he tries to hide it.
