Dr. John Holland created RIASEC codes. He's a psychologist from Nebraska, and he has actually modified other personality tests from other psychologists, other than creating his own and managed to help a lot of people.
Hi, my name is Kasey Phillips and I'd like to explain my career category, in which i discovered by using the RIASEC code.
Definition of RIASC
Realistic is hands on, Investigative is more or less about mysteries, Artistic is all about the arts, Social mentally and physically deals with other humans, Enterprising is business management & persuaders and Conventional is the jobs that are convenient.
There are six categories in which personalities are distributed for career jobs. These are: Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional.
The quiz was quick and easy. I simply selected whether i did or did not agree with a job occupation then was judged on my personality for best fit for my career.
My interest results were SIE- Social being dominant and Investigative and Enterprising being recessive.
I agree with this because I enjoy helping others, over all other traits. Sometimes, you also have to investigate a situation in order to help others strive for greatness, so I believe this is accurate.
My dominant trait is being social and my two recessive traits are being investigative and enterprising.
Two careers that are associated with my test results are psychology and health & human services.
My preferred career would be psychology, because it amazes me how the mind operates and how everyone thinks differently.
Salaries and Job Openings
Salaries for psychologists range from $75,000- $125,000, each year.
In the year of 2020, a number of 33% more job openings will be avaliable for the occupation.
The demand will increase and more people will need psychologists, such as an expired veteran with PTSD or just simply a teen suffering from peer pressure.
