Storyboard Text

  • Bye Jonas!
  • Bye Fiona!
  • Woah. There's been a change with Fiona's hair but, I'm not sure what it is.
  • The crossing of the boundary of memories played a major role in the lives of the people in the community. The receiver, Jonas, was determined to cross the boundary of memory for the sake of the people in the community. Throughout his transfers of memories, he had been exposed to many factors that the community controlled. He found it unjust that the people had been deprived from their very own lives. They hadn't been allowed to be independent and make their own choices. Instead, they were forced to live under the strict rules of the community. To put an end to this, Jonas had decided that his only option was to cross the boundary of memories in order for the memories to be released back into the community. He and the Giver had discussed his journey to cross the boundary of memory. This had a massive impact on the people because they were having to experience all of these different emotions at once. They also have all the right to feel betrayed because all of this information was being kept from them. Although on the bright side, they are now able to be independent and make their own choices. All in all, the crossing of the border of memories by the receiver was a positive change.
