The night was cold and dark, the mother was knitting calmly by the fire, while the son and father were playing chess aggressively.
hahahahahahahaha
You get three wishes.....
Mr, Mrs, and Herbert White heard the gate pound so loudly, and loud heavy boots coming up the steps on the porch, only to knock on the door. Herbert answered, and an old man rose up.
MY BABY! MY BABY!
I WISH HE WOULD COME BACK
Mr. White and Sergeant Major Morris were drinking, when Sergeant pulled out something small and mummified. He announced, "The Monkeys Paw."
I WISH FOR YOU TO GO BACK!
Sergeant Major Morris told Mr, Mrs, and Herbert White that it had the power to grant three wishes. Sergeant told them fate ruled peoples lives, and those who interfered do their sorrow. They all laughed, and thought it was a joke.
The very next day, Mr. White wished for 200 pounds. Herbert went off to work, and parents were waiting around for the money to arrive. A guy, hesitating to come to their door, who finally showed up, gave them their 200 pounds. What came along with it, wasn't so pleasant. Herbert was in an accident at work, and that was his money.
Mr. White was devastated, and Mrs. White was too. They thought it was a joke, but as it turns out it wasn't. Mrs. White lost it, she became mentally unstable. Mr. White calmed down a little bit after the incident. They wished for their son back, and they got the dead him. They saw and wished for him to go back.
