In this scene, Ralph, on the left, is having a lot of negative thoughts about making it home. Simon, on the right, is trying to comfort Ralph telling him that they will make it home. I chose this important scene because the amount of hope they will will determine if they make it home or not.
" One was clamped down, one was helpless, one was condemned one was- "
"You'll get back all right. I think so, anyways.
In this scene, Ralph and the rest of the hunters find pig droppings and then find a pig to hunt down. There is a lot of excitement going on in this chase while they are trying to kill the pig and search for the beast at the same time.
" I hit him all right. The spear stuck in. I wounded him! "
This scene is when Ralph and the hunters get a bit too excited with the involvement in the chase. I picked this scene because it makes you think about that if they all get so excited just because they killed a pig, who knows what they would get excited about to kill in the future?
