  • TESTABLE QUESTION : Does the volume of the ball(IV) affect how far it's kicked(DV)
  • HYPOTHESIS: If the ball has volume (aired up) then it will be kicked further
  • OBSERVATIONS/COLLECTION OF DATA: I've noticed kicking the ball with volume has went further then kicking the ball with out volume(CONTROL GROUP) and with little volume each and every time. I've done 3 trials for each ball. The average for each ball from most volume to least are 54yards, 42yards, and 32 yards
  • ANALYZE DATA: The ball with the most volume is kicked the furthest every time, the ball with a little volume is kicked the second furthest every time, and the ball with no volume at all is kicked the least furthest every time.
  • CONSTANTS: Some things I kept the same were the same brands of football,I wore the same cleats while kicking the balls, and I used the same kicking tee.
  • CONCLUSION: The more volume in the ball, the further you can kick it
