One early morning, Jess was getting ready for school but wasn't feeling so good. Her mom decided to take her to the doctors
After doing tests, I've determined you have the flu. The best thing to do is to lay down and stay hydrated. I will give you some medicine to lower your fever and help with any other pain.
Okay thanks, I will get some rest.
When Jess got home she informed her mom that she has the flu. Her mom tells her that she will be sweating a lot as an immune response to keep her cooled off from her temperature.
Jess tried to get some sleep after she ate some soup. As she was sleeping, her T-cells worked to recognize and destroy the virus in her body.
After 2 days, Jess was feeling a lot better and started eating bigger meals. She didn't have a fever anymore and just had muscle aches and a little headache. She took aspirin to help with those symptoms.
