  • Hi everybody, my name is Dr.Solberg. I am here today to talk to you guys about the scientific method. Hope your as excited as me.!
  • Let's go into the building and into my lab.
  • Me and my assistant are going to get started on the scientific method. The first step is to come up with a problem. That means that you have to ask yourself a question about a certain topic. For example, Will Monster Energy drink make my dog run faster?
  • Hi my name is Dr. Sky Blue Waters. I am Dr. Solberg's assistant. I'm going to help Dr. Solberg create a good question for her problem. It means I will help her research using websites and resources
  • Hi my name is Leo. I wonder what the 3rd step is to the scientific method?
  • The third step to the scientific method is called the hypothesis. That means to take a good guess of the question. For example, I think that the ant will get an upset stumach when it eats the cracker.
  • The 4th step to the scientific is the fun part, the experiment. That is when you get to test your hypothesis. For example, you will give your ant a cracker and see what happens to the ant.
  • The 5th step is the results. That means to see if your hypothesis is correct. For example, my hypothesis was correct, the ant got an upset stumach.
  • The last step to the scientific method is called the conclusion. That means I ask myself what did I learn? For example, What I learned is that if you give an ant a cracker it will get an upset sumach.
  • Thank you for watching my presentation. I hope you and your other classmates learned a lot about the scientific method. I know I did at least. Maybe one day you will need to use the scientific method yourself. Bye, and again, thank you for watching.
