  • He became a member of Congress in 1782
  • KA-CHING!
  • Alexander decided to side with the Patriots during the American Revolution. He led the troops at Yorktown where the British surrendered.
  • Alexander was the first US Treasury Secretary
  • Alexander was sent on special missions and kept track of the British army's movements.
  • He also helped Thomas Jefferson get elected for president.
  • WOW! It is great to be a President!
  • He left The Continental Congress and started law practice in New York.
  • Alexander was in a duel with Aaron Burr and died the next day because Burr shot him in the stomach.
  • POW!
  • As secretary of the treasury Alexander started the very first National Bank.
  • Alexander helped Thomas Jefferson get elected because Aaron Burr only cared about his own gains.
  • Alexander purposely missed because he did not want to shoot Burr. Burr shot him and got charged for murder. Burr fled from New York to avoid being captured.
