Here in the New England colonies, we go whaling and fishing for a living. What do you do?
In the Middle colonies, a lot of us work in factories to make paper, iron, and textiles. Some of us are also artisans and merchants.
Wow! It's so cool that the colonies live so close to each other, yet our ways of life are so different!

I'm a recently released slave from the plantation in the Southern Colonies. That's how many landowners make money from there. The soil and climate is really good for plantations.
