Exactly, I knew I would jog your memory! But do you remember the facts?
I do, actually! It was because of the commissions not being delivered that the trial was caused, as Marbury, wanting to be judge, sued Jefferson and Madison. The actual event started around 1800, as it was Adams that assigned these judges, and the trial ended in 1803.
