Turning Equations into Slope Intercept Form
This storyboard does not have a description.
Hey man, have you heard of turning equations into slope intercept form?
No man, please tell me about that.
Well, you first need to move the x term by doing the opposite but keep in mind you can't combine the x term with the number on the other side
So if the equation was -2x + 3y = 9 you would add 2x on both sides of the equal sign?
Exactly, but remember you can't combine the 2x and 9.
If it is required, divide all of the terms by the number in front of the "y". Or in our case, the 3.
I think I understand it now. Thanks man!
You're welcome, and don't forget to reduce your fraction!
