  • In the year 1914, Nicholas II brought Russia into WW1. The troops were poorly equipped, which lead to huge loss of life. Most soldiers tried to flee which made the army much weaker. By the end of the war Russia lost 4 million men.
  • Lenin's Return
  • I'm Back!
  • 200,000 workers marched on the winter palace asking for better working conditions, and more freedom. The czar however, ordered soldiers to fire on the crowd, killing hundreds. Russia was now under heavy waves of strikes and violence.
  • Civil War

  • The March Revolution made almost every Russian want the Czar dead. in 1917 Czar Nicholas II was dethroned and his family was killed. They were told they were going to take a family photo but instead were shot down. They died slow deaths.

  • After leaving Russia for a few years not to be caught, Lenin with the help of The Germans, returned to Russia. The Germans knew this would brew controversy and maybe even a revolution in Russia
  • The Red Army and White Army clashed in a civil war. The leader of the red army was Kerensky. After 14 million deaths, the Red Army won, crushing all of thier enemies.
  • After Lenin's death in 1924, Stalin gets promoted to power using his people in the government. Stalin is now in total control of all of Russia. He goes on to be a huge dictator and kill lots of people.
