  • The game was first made in India in 1860s and was first called "Ponna"
  • The British kids liked the game too and it soon came to the attention of their parents.
  • I win!
  • Bravo!
  • The officers brought the game back with them to England and it got a lot of attention
  • Woah! So cool!
  • Okay begin!
  • The game got really popular and was added to the world olympics in 1992.
  • And now Badminton is one of the worlds most popular sports, an estimated 220 milion people play it regualy around the world!
