  • The movie theater was playing a movie about Ancient India. The movie was over, but one girl knew that none of that was true and, boy wad she mad.
  • That's all wrong. Ancient India is not like that. First of all, they were surrounded by natural boundaries.
  • There Social Structure was a caste system. There were 5 classes. You could think of it as a pyramid. 
  • One religion in Ancient India was Hinduism. They believed in one supreme god, Brahman. They also had gurus who were spiritual teachers and thinkers. This is what a guru would do. 
  • There were two rivers called the Indus river and Ganges river. There was also 2 mountain ranges called the Himalayas and the Hindu Kush. Not to mention there was the Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea that lead to the Indian Ocean. 
  • Another religion was Buddhism. It was based of a prince named Siddartha who became one with his inner self. It was kind of like a branch off of Hinduism.
  •  First, came the gods, then, came the Brahmins, next were the Kshatriyas, after that was the Vaishyas, following was the Sudras, and lastly were the untouchables.People thought they would become unclean if they interacted with the untouchables.
  • One leader was Asoka. His dad did not like him very much so Asoka's brother got to be ruler instead. 
  • Hinduism was partially about finding your inner self, your Atman.They believed in reincarnation and kharma. They believed in 4 wantings Pleasure,Success, Dharma, (living an ethical life), and Moksha (releasing from life).  There was also epic poems that helped Hinduism spread. 
  • Ancient India also had a lot of inventions. Well, I guess that's all their is .Thank you for listening. You can go now.
  • Siddartha was a prince who was protected from the world. He left and worked with the gurus from Hinduism. He meditated fro 49 days to become one with his inner self. He renamed himself Buddha meaning "Enlightened One" in English. He believed in four noble truths, the Eightfold path, and nirvana. One way Buddhism spread was through monasteries 
  • When his dad died, Asoka killed his brother and became ruler. He only worried about war. Asoka realized all these sufferings and began to think about the kind of ruler he is and the kind he wants to be. Then, Asoka focused on Buddhism and built things for the people such as, hospitals, wells, and roads. When Asoka died the civilization failed afterwards.
  • Ancient India created lots of academic things. They created literature, math(algebra,trigonometry,etc). They also create things like art,music,and dance. Furthermore, they created chess and astronomy. Finally, they created medicine or more advance medicine.
