  • This island was used as a military base in a war in the past. Now there are beautiful beaches and places to go. Getting around the island by bike is the most fun. When on the island, you can go for a swim at the beach, go snorkeling, and take a ferry.

  • Fraser Island is the largest sand island in the world. There are a lot of swimming lakes but swimming is not great due to the rough waters.

  • Lord Howe Island is very unique in that the only way to get here is by plane. Some things to do here include going to the walking trails, and seeing the volcanic remnant that is on the island. As well as visiting the coral pools.

  • Cockatoo Island is a place that is good to go for a day trip. This island is a great place to learn about history and what the island was like in the past. It is a good plac to have a picnic.
  • Green Island is where the largest crocodile named Cassius lives. There are pools and boat tours. The boat tours can take you to the Great Barrier Reef because it is right near the island.

  • Hamilton Island can be thought of as more of a luxurious island. It is a nice getaway that can be turned into a day trip. There are places to be pampered and there are infinity pools. When taking a day to go here, it is a nice relaxation from everything going on in the world and a person's life.
