  • Preparing for the raid on St  Cuthbert Lindisfarm.
  • We will leave tomorrow before the sun comes up, ready for the fight.
  • We fight for our country and the power of the Vikings. 
  • Sailing to the coast of St Cuthbert Lindisfarm.
  • Vikings, go for the large storerooms of money in the Monastery. 
  • Vikings arrive at the Coast in the their long-ships.
  • The vikings are getting prepared ready for the raid on the Monastery at Lindisfarm England. The Vikings found That raiding monastery's was an easy target for getting rich fast. They found that There was no-one really to stop them from raiding the monastery. 
  • Deploying the troops.
  • Do it for the victory and pride to be powerful, and to be respected by everyone.
  • The Vikings came with many deadly weapons to leave no-one in their way when stealing the loot that they need. The Vikings liked the Monastery because of the large storerooms of money and metals.
  • Attacking the Monastery.
  • We shall use the priest as our slave. He will work all day for us.
  • A fleet of longships full of vikings arrive at the edge of the Monasterys ready to deploy the troops into the village. The loot was often: gold, silver, jewlled items (such as gold and silver candlesticks), goblets and jewlled crucifixes. 
  • Fleeding the scene.
  • The viking army has settled on land, ready to send the vikings into the city. The Vikings fought in large numbers leaving no one in their way. There would be one more Berserkers in each Viking raid/fight. Their appearance and behaviour is terryfying to innocent victims.  
  • leave no one in our way, kill all and have no mercy.
  • During the raids, Vikings killed innocent people, raped women and kidnapped many people including monks to use as slaves or just to sell. The slaves would work hard on the farms or building projects. The Vikings took everything valuable and raided the town completely, leaving no one or thing to spare. These were viscious attacks. 
  • Check the Monastery for extra valuables.
  • The Vikings fleed the attack with everything they need. The Viking attacks were a type of hit and run. They were timed and designed to cause maximum panic. The Viking long ships would quickly disappear into sea returning home with all the stolen goods.
