In this part of this stage, Madeline discovers she doesn't have Severe Combined Immunodeficiency through the email she got from the doctor that checked her in Hawaii & she gets mad at her mom for lying to her.
Stage 3: Maturity
In this part of this stage, Madeline experiences psychological growth of realizing she doesn't have Severe Combined Immunodeficiency and she wants to make sure so she goes to her mom's workroom to check if there are any medical reports of hers from past.
In this part of this stage, Madeline is fundamentally good but she hides what good/bad things she is doing from her mom. So she hides/ doesn't talk to her mom about what she is doing/experiencing in her life that she is not supposed to do.
In this part of this stage, Madeline forgives her mom and goes back to Olly and tell him she still loves him.
Stage 4: Acceptance and Remedy
At the beginning of the story, Madeline was always wearing white and was always staying in her house. But at the end, she knows she is not allergic to the world so she starts to go out and the picture on the right how she is now in the world and she doesn't just stay home.
In this part of the stage, Madeline the protagonist does not help anyone with the maturity she got, instead, she just enjoys the life she missed. This part was at the end when she and Olly go to a movie.
