Go ahead you second-hand literaturer, pull the trigger.
We never burned right...
This is when the firemen go on a call which happens to be Montag's house
Beatty had wanted to die. He had just stood there, not really trying to save himself, just stood there, joking, needling... instead of shutting up and staying alive...he got me mad, and then I pressed the trigger to kill him.
Beatty forces Montag to burn his house down along with all the books. He then informs Montag that he will be arrested.
Let's go back to the city.
Now we can read safely.
Well everything is finally over.
Once Beatty has upset Montag enough, Montag turns his flamethrower on the Captain and before he could think about it , he set Beatty on fire and ended his life.
After leaving the site, Montag starts talking to himself about Beatty's actions before the murder, questioning his actions and how he did not try so hard stay alive.
Montag escapes the people searching for him and begins to live with a group of readers. A bomb is dropped on the city and it gets destroyed. Montag feels some sweet sadness as he realizes its time to start over again and time do things right.
Montag travels with the rest of the professors to the new city in order to reunite with Faber. Montag now looks forward to living his life freely and with purpose.
