Storyboard Text

  • Zeus saw the horrible things Pandora's box caused. Many citizens were fighting and rioting. Zeus decided he needed to punish humans for their actions
  • All water on earth, I command you to rise and drown all humans on this earth
  • Not only did King Deucalion have a kind heart, but he was the son of Promethus and gave mankind the gift of fire.
  • Zeus commanded the waters and rivers to rise and flood the earth. Everyone drowned except two people-King Deucalion who was the most honest man and his wife-Pyrrha.
  • Prometheus told his son Deucalion to build a boat to survive this flood. Prometheus also said to throw the bones of the Great Mother over his shoulder and his wife should do the same.
  • The flood came and Deucalion and his wife sailed away for 9 days and 9 nights.
  • Deucalion and Pyrrha threw rocks over their shoulders as they became men and woman.
  • Since the earth is the Great Mother of all human kind, her bones must be stones!
  • Many stones later, mankind started again.
