- The parents of the boy traveled to see Louis Pasteur because the dog that bit him had rabies and Pasteur was the only one that had the vaccine for rabies. He give him the vaccine without testing it hoping it would work and yes it worked he safe the boys life.
- Pasteur had a stroke and put him in coma for 10 days, and after he awakened he wanted to keep working, he didn't care being in a wheelchair. He keep giving injections to the boy and cured.
- Louis Pasteur died on December 20,1895 at the age of 72. He never fully recovered from the stroke.
