George Washington showed great leadership during the whiskey rebellion. In the text it states "His action's sent a strong message to the public: The government would use force to maintain order." Due to Washington's action's he stopped the rebellion because he showed what a great leader would do in a situation like this.
George Washington also showed great leadership when the battle of the fallen timber was going on. "Washington signed a treaty with the natives... again Washington decided that he was going to use force ." This shows that because Washington was being a good leader doesn't mean that he don't have to make hard decisions.
