After nine years of no war the King of Athens was ready to send seven boys and seven girls to King Minos. Then Prince Thesues(King of Athens son) decided that he would go with the six other boys. Prince Thesues did not intend to be eaten. He was going to defeat the Minotaur.
The next morning it was time for Prince Thesues to defeat the Minotaur.
The thirteen other kids traveled behind Prince Thesues as they arrived to have Princess Ariadne and King Minos greet them a day before the would all "Die."
When Prince Theseus and Princess Ariadne arrived back to Athens everyone admired her.
The first night that Prince Theseus stayed in his room but Princess Ariadne slipped a note asking if she helped Prince Thesues destroy the Minotaur, would he help her go away from the island to show her beauty. That night Prince Thesues went to the gate and waited for princess Ariadne to come. When she finally arrived she gave Prince Thesues a sword and a ball of string to help defeat the Minotaur.
I shall help you defeat the Minotaur if you can take me to your city so I can show my beauty to the world. If you accept meet me by the gate to the Labryinth in one hour. Princess Ariadne
When Theseus got into the ginormous maze with the Minotaur Prince Theseus took out the sword and gave the string to one of the boys. He gave the string to the boys so he could tie a part around his waist and this would help him find his way back. A few minutes later Theseus killed the Minotaur.
When Prince Theseus and Princess Ariadne returned to Athens Princess Ariadne was sleeping while everyone around her admired her. The deal was complete.
