  • The thane of Cawdor lives: why do you dress me in borrowed robes.
  • "O,never Shall sun that morrow see! Looks like the innocent flower, But be the serpent under't"
  • "I have done the deed. Didst thou not hear a noise?
  • Macbeth sees three witches.  the witches say "All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, thane of Glamis! All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, Thane of Glamis! All hail, Macbeth! shalt be king hereafter."
  • Macbeth writes a letter telling her about his strange encounter with the witches. Glamis thou art, and Cawdor; and shalt be it to full o'th' milk of human kindness to catch the nearest way: thou wouldn't be great.
  • My lord, his throat is cut; that I did for him.
  • Macbeth kills King Duncan in his sleep with a dagger. "is this a dagger I see before me, the handle towards my hand? or art thou but a dagger of the mind, a false creation."
  • After Duncan was killed his children fleed for their lives Malcom goes to England Donalbain goes to ireland.
  • "there's daggers in men's smiles: the near in blood the nearer bloody"
  • Macbeth hires three murderers to kill Banquo and his son but his son escapes. Macbeth says " let your remembrance apply to Banquo"
  • Macbeth sees Banquo's ghost. "thou canst not say I did it: never shake thy gory locks at me".
