  • Spartans and Athenians.
  • Spartans lived and trained with all of their soldiers. They were soldiers at the age of 20. They were allowed to marry, but couldn't live with their wives.
  • Men went to markets, sold good in the market, and had jobs. They were the only ones considered citizens. Women weaved, cooked and taught slaves
  • I can compare and contrast the characteristics of a monarchy, democracy, aristocracy, and oligarchy.
  • Greek city-states combined and connected
  • In times of crisis or war, Greek city states would come together and help fight or defend.
  • I can compare and contrast the daily life of Spartans and Athenians.
  • Monarchy- Ruled by a queen or king Democracy- People of the country run the government. Oligarchy- Ruled by a small group of people. Aristocracy- government is ruled by most powerful person.
  • I can show how in times of crisis or war Greek city-states combined and connected
