Anne Frank was just a regular, jewish 13 year old girl. On her 13th birthday she received a diary, named Kitty. In this diary she tells the readers all about her life.
The Franks live in a German controlled area during the World War II. Margot, Anne's sister, is threatened to be deported. The Frank family go into hiding at an old work place they call, the Secret Annex.
Mr. Dussel, a Jewish man, joins the Franks in the Secret Annex. There is little food for them to survive off of. Everyone is deathly scared they might be found in their hiding.
The warehouse below the Secret Annex is swarmed with police. Down the street people get arrested for hiding Jews. Everything is falling apart, but the Franks are not found.
Everyone in the Secret Annex was starving and had lost hope.
The Secret Annex is discovered. They are all taken away. Anne can not write in Kitty anymore.
