  • EXPOSITION
  • HI! I'm Margot and I know a lot about the sun and our universe.
  • I'm William and I like to pick on Margot for being such a know it all.
  • CONFLICT
  • I think the sun is a flower, That blooms just for one hour
  • You didn't write that!
  • RISING ACTION
  • It's like a fire, in the stove.
  • Your'e lying you don"t remember!
  • Margot, which is the main character in the story is the outcast compared to the rest of her classmates.  William which is the smart mouth kid that likes to make fun of Margot. The rest of the class just chants William on and says whatever he says and does what he does.
  • CLIMAX
  • Now you don't get to go outside. This is what you get for having your "perfect" life!
  • Margot is in the middle of sharing a poem she wrote about the sun. While the teacher is complimenting Margot about her poem, William makes a rude comment. In this scene it clearly shows that he is jealous of Margot because of how smart she is.
  • FALLING ACTION
  • It's so beautiful outside!
  • After she had read her story she then began to describe the way the earth used to be. While she was describing the way she remembered the Earth the other kids were shocked to believe that she actually remembered how earth was.  The children had also disliked her because there was talk about Margot going back to earth. They hated her because of her going back to earth, her pale face, her waiting silence, jealous of  her body, and her possible future.
  • RESOLUTION
  • While all of the children are waiting for their teacher to come back. William starts to tease Margot by saying that the sun won't come out today. While William is saying that the other kids catch on that he's just trying to be mean so they all play along and agree. William and the other kids had pushed Margot, and locked the door then returning to the classroom where they went outside without Margot.
  • Let me out please!
  • As they rained almost stopped they all crowded the door. As they went outside it was so silent yet so beautiful. The sun was once out and it was so bright and filled the  the sky with light. All of the kids had ran out into the field as the flowers bloomed and all the butterfly's and bees came out. Not too much later the sky became grey and the rain had started to fall.
  • Look at the sun and all of the flowers!
  • As the rain begins to come down again the children remember that they still had Margot locked in the storage closet. Once they get inside they let Margot out of the closet and she heads to the outside door.  She then walks slowly outside in the pouring rain. The classmates then give her the flowers they picked while they were outside. William who also felt bad because he was the one that had locked her in the closet also gave Margot what he had picked from outside.
  • booh hoo
  • I'm sorry Margot.
