  • Women in the 1500's were offered little opportunities for education. In the 1500's women either had no education, little, or had to be tutored privately. Middle class girls were taught reading, writing, arithmetic, and skills like sewing by their mother.  KG
  • Women in the 1500's were offered little opportunities for education. Men didn't want women to be educated because they thought women were the lesser sex. They also, thought women's only responsibilities were to take care of the children and clean the house. KG
  • Women in the 1500's were offered little opportunities for education. Women were only allowed basic education. Merchants daughters were taught how to run their father's business. Some women were taught reading by their husbands or the parish Priest. Girls were taught languages like Greek, Latin, Spanish, Italian, and French. KG
