  • We need more land to expand and we need to control the land 
  • We want to trade with the Indians and the British to leave
  • We want our land back and peace
  • You shall not pass!...West of the Appalachian Mountains
  • Your paper need to have this on it, because it's a tax
  • French and Indian War The Colonists, Indians, and the French are fighting for different reasons as shown above
  • Yes they are, it's right on the box
  • Are these taxed? Good, then I  don't need search your shop
  • Proclamation of 1763 The king created a proclamation that said that they colonists could not go expand their territory west of the Appalachian Mountains.
  • Stamp Act The Stamp Act of 1765 was an Act of the Parliament of Britain that imposed a tax on the Thirteen Colonies and required that many printed materials in the colonies be produced on stamped paper produced in London. Such as shown above with the soldier saying that the paper has to have the skull on it.
  • We want to protest the Stamp Act by dumping tea overboard
  • Townshend Act The soldier is asking if the paint is taxed.The act also placed a tax on imports such as paper, tea, glass, and lead. The acts continued to allow for writs of assistance to be used, which allowed British soldiers to freely search the colonists homes for goods that were banned by the Stamp Act.

  • Boston Massacre The British soldiers were the men with red coats. The colonists threw rocks at the British. The British shot at the patriots and some were killed. The patriots were the colonists that fought against the rule of the British.
  • Boston Tea Party  Members of the Sons of Liberty disguised as Mohawk Indians dumped crates of tea into Boston harbor as a protest against the Tea Act and its provisions for taxation.The Sons of Liberty was a secret organization that was created in the Thirteen American Colonies to advance the rights of the European colonists and to fight taxation by the British government.
