Later, the French and British fought in a war for the Spanish Succession.
During the war, France lost control of Acadia. Which meant that the British could attack at anytime and the French wouldn't be there to protect them.
THE BRITISH CAN ATTACK US ANYTIME!
The British had also captured Port Royal.
The French and the British signed the Treaty of Utrecht, which stopped the conflict. But still meant that the colony belonged to Great Britian while allowing the Acadians to keep their land.
