Joan lived a normal childhood as a peasant girl from France, praying frequently to God . At age 13. she saw a light and heard the voices of saints.

After Joan heard the voices of saints telling her to save France and put the dauphin on the throne, Joan cut her hair and dressed up as a boy. She went to Charles and told him what she saw. She then led France to victory in the battle of Orleans.

One year after the battle of Orléans, Joan led a surprise attack against England. The English captured her and accused her as a witch. Although she had helped him so much, Charles made no attempt to free her.
The English trialed and interrogated Joan after they captured her. People watching loved her courageous answers. 70 accusations were made against her.
Joan died when she was burned at the stake by the English. Finally, after Joan's death, King Charles VII pushed the English out of France. Joan's parents went back to a judge and Joan was found innocent. Later, Joan was declared a saint.
