  • Hello my name is Cooper and I am here to take you on a journey through the magical world of Volcanoes and Earthquakes. I will warn you that this can get pretty dangerous but with me on your side we have a good chance of making it out ok. Today I will be showing you 3 different types of volcanos. They are Cinder Cone, shield, and composite volcanos. After that I will take you to 2 different earthquakes. Let's Go!
  • This is our first stop the shield Volcano. We are currently at the Hawaiian islands. Today we are witnessing the eruption of this volcano. The explosion of a shield volcano is caused by a Divergent plate boundary. This eruption of lava is made out of Basalt. This eruption is rather a quiet eruption. Now that we've talked about a shield volcano let's move on to our next volcano.
  • This is our next volcano it is the cinder cone volcano. We are currently at the Ring of Fire in the Pacific ocean. It's place boundary is a convergent plate boundary. The lava is made up of Granite and is very thick. The eruption is an Explosive eruption. We are now on to our final volcano which is a composite volcano.
  • This is our last volcano. The composite volcano. It can also be found in the ring of fire. This volcano is formed due to a divergent plate boundary. It's lava is made of Granite and it is very thick. This volcanos eruption is Explosive. Now that I've shown you the 3 main types of volcanos we can move on to earthquakes.
  • Thankfully we were able to make it through those volcanos without being killed by the lava but now the real test is if we can make it safe through these dangerous Earthquake zones...What was that? I think that was the focus of the earthquake! The focus of an Earthquake is the point within the earth where an earthquake rupture starts. Which means we better run for it if we want to make it out alive.
  • The Earth quake has just exploded underground this is known as the epicenter. We must continue to evacuate and run as fast as we can. This Earthquake is right behind us. It's only going to get worse from here. This is going to be a close one.
  • Well we made it safely. I hope you enjoyed the excitement of the tour and I wish you a great rest of your day.
