Goal: To overcome my initial shock and starts doing assignments one at a time.
I have never done an online course and I am so confused! Where do I start?
Early Febrtuary 2019
Goal: To time manage better and participate more in the discussions. Through reading instructions there are some amazing people taking this course with amazing experiences
Although challenging at first, I really feel like I got this. Creating student centered and positive classroom is a must. I am going to be positive about my learning as well.
Middle of February 2019
Goal: To really dig in these topics because they are very informative and I could really benefit. I am going to take advantage of the resources shared.
Learning about differentiation, curriculum, assessment, evaluation and reporting has been very helpful. I will definitely use more of "assessment as learning" ideas shared.
Later February 2019
Goal: Community and parent involvement is a very interesting and important topic. I will definitely use the templates for the weekly newsletter in the future. I am also glad that I am able to time manage better.
It is amazing to see all these resources. Classroom newsletters give great ideas on how to get the community involved. I will apply this with my class.
Early March 2019
Goal: I feel like I have learned so much and am excited about creating a unit plan. I want to apply my knowledge.
I can't believe how everyone has been so supportive and helpful on the discussion forum. I love reading all their feedback.
Reflection: Looking back at the goals I had at the beginning of the course and everything that I have accomplished I feel like I have excited my goals. I was having a really hard time grasping the "online course" concept initially but today I feel inspired to take even more ABQs. This course was very informative and well thought out.
