Storyboard Text

  • Mitosis is a little difficult to explain because there's 4 stages but I will try to explain.
  • Hey,what's mitosis.?
  • The first phase of mitosis is prophase, during prophase the nuclear membrane disintegrates and the centriols move to opposite ends of the cell.
  • OK, you weren't kidding, that's a lot of  information.
  • The second stage of mitosis is metaphase, in this phase the chromotids line up in the middle of the cell.
  • OK.
  • The third phase of mitosis is anaphase, during anaphase the chromotids separate & move away from each other.
  • OK, so we're almost on the 4th phase.
  • The fourth phase of mitosis is telophase, during this phase a new nucleus forms around each set of chromosomes and mitosis is over.
