  • Welcome to the Indus Valley Civilization! By Lane Parmley
  • The houses in the Indus civilization were multiple stories high, and were made of brick. The bricks were made out of dirt, sand, and a bunch of other stuff. The bricks were sturdy. We know that because they have stayed intact for thousands of years.
  • The Indus Valley civilization was placed right next to the indus river. When the water flooded, It would water their crops.
  • The bathrooms in the indus valley civilization looked nothing like this. To take a shower, you had to dump water on yourself over a drain. If you wanted to take a bath, you would have to go to "The great bath".
  • One of the main jobs of the Indus Valley civilization was trading. The indus valley people used tags on the things that they were trading.
