Storyboard Text

  • The Hundred Years War was a war between the English and the French over the control of France. It wasn't one long war, but was instead a series of battles. This war was caused by many disputes over land and titles.
  • Go! Save France from the English!
  • Meanwhile, a peasant girl in France (named Joan of Arc) started to get visions and dreams from God telling her to help France win the Hundred Years War.
  • But I'm just a peasant girl. What can I do to save France?
  • You can do it Joan! Go to the king and ask him to help you.
  • Please! Let me help save France. I have gotten visions from God telling me that I'm supposed to lead us to victory.
  • But you're just a peasant farm girl! What could you do to help this war?
  • Please just let me try. It's not like we are winning anyway.
  • I guess it couldn't hurt. You're now in charge of part of our army.
