Your nashers need alot of looking after so carry on reading to find out how to give your teeth the love they deserve.
Your teeth are made from a substance called enamel. Enamel is very strong but it does have some enemies that are even stronger. These are called bacteria and with out help your teeth can't defend themselves and therefore they will begin to rot and get very unhealthy!
What you eat and drink will effect your teeth greatly. Some foods and drink like sweets and cola, are home to the bacteria that rot your teeth so stay away from sugary food and drinks. Things like milk and fruit yoghurt are really good for your teeth because they contain calcium which hardens your teeth to make them stronger. Even though fruit is very good for you you need to be careful not to eat too much because it is acidic and can give you cavaties (holes in your teeth).
Brushing your teeth is the biggest factor to keeping your teeth clean and healthy. Brushing your teeth prevents the build up of plaque which is harmful to your teeth. For your milk teeth you will need a soft toothbrush with a small head. You should change your toothbrush every 3 months but if you notice that the bristles are beginning to bend over before the 3 months are up you should buy a new one.
