The part in the book that Lennie remembers that a woman used to give him mice and he would accidentally kill them because they would bite him. "I don't know where there is no other mouse. I remember that a Lady used to give 'em to me- ever' one she got" Pg. 9

At the beginning of Chapter 2, it says that they have finally came to the barn in one late morning . Pg. 17
On page 31, curly's wife comes into the barn to find Curly, but she wants to have a conversation with the other guys in the barn, and clearly George wants non of that talk.

When Curly's wife leaves the barn, George confronts Lennie about what he did, and tells her to not to mess with her because, him and Curly will get into a fight. Pg. 32
