  • More government influence. And AMMO!
  • NO!
  • How about a war with Austria instead.
  • You're coming with us!
  • Death to the monarchy!
  • The third estate wanting more of a say in the government realized that Louis XVI was planning an attack on them. So the people stole weapons from Hotel des Invalides in Paris and stormed the Bastille for ammo. The storming of the 90-foot tall structure was a symbol of the king's power. Eventually, when the people burnt it down there was doubt in the king.
  • Bucket list: Kill king Take over Kill 30,000 people All checked
  • On 1791 June 20 King Louis XVI of France attempted to flee the country in the so-called Flight to Varennes but he and Marie Antoinette were caught. they were brought back to France and eventually were taken to prison in Paris for treason. to try and solve the problem the king declared preemptive war on Austria which the French people won.
  • hru nar eraque. (My jaw hurts)
  • The king was eventually executed for all of his crimes and the queen was executed 10 months later. all of this was taken over by the Jacobins and their big leader Maximilien Robespierre.
  • Thanks for reading! Next time we are going to tell the story of the industrial revolution.
  • with the royal family gone a Maximilien Robespierre took charge in an event called the reign of terror. over 30,000 people were executed. They were executed for committing treason. The person in power who oversaw all of these deaths was Robespierre.
  • because of all of Robspierres crimes he was put on trial along with many of his fellow Jacobins. they were found guilty and were sentenced to the guillotine. the night before he and others tried to commit suicide but Robespierre failed and only shot his jaw off.
  • That is the story of how France we now know today became what it is. It was a major part of history which France went through just as many counties did.
