  • The Titanomachy:  The Olympians against the Titans
  • Long ago There were gods and goddesses who ruled the earth. The Twelve Olympians who had beaten the titans and taken over Olympus.
  • You shall receive the same fate as mine son.
  • The Olympians were lead by Zeus, Hades and Poseidon, the powerful three.
  • But before them, the Titans marched the land. Most born from Gaia, Mother Earth.
  • Before the Olympians were even born, Gaia and her son Cronos defeated Ouranos, Gaia's husband and the sky. Before he was sent to the sky, Ouranos pr that Cronos would lose his throne due  his own son.  Just as he had.
  • To make sure Ourano's promise didn't prove true, Cronos ate all of the children he had with fellow titan Rhea.
  • But Rhea hid her sixth child Zeus on an island in Crete.
