norovirus vs the CCA
The CCA knew she had to report this to the local health authorities right away! She also knew that she needed to wear PPE's like gloves, mask, gown and goggles. She washed her hands a lot between patients.
Anyone with Norovirus had to be isolated and contact precautions had to be followed. She did her best at keeping everyone in their rooms for meals, bathing, and toileting but that Norovirus was tricky and spread all over the place. It was decided to close the ward to visitors.
She knew that she had to make sure that her clients got lots of liquids to replace any lost during their illness. Some even needed IV fluids! Soon everyone was feeling much better, the ward was open to visitors, and the Norovirus was gone.
