Storyboard Text

  • In "The Lottery" it states that they met between the library and the bank with a blck wooden box, the wooden box symbols darkness or death.
  • For imagery I have "the women wearing faded house dresses and sweaters".
  • For figure of speech this is foreshadowing because of the pile of stones will soon be thrown at whoever "wins" the lottery.
  • In this one, i have some people looking at the girl standing by herself after she won the lottery. They are numb to the stoning because they have seen it so many times.
  • "He was a round face jovial man" page 26, for imagery
  • Mr. Graves is a symbol of death or a graveyard which would also be foreshadowing.
